Accelerating the transition to sustainable energy and mobility

Accelerating the transition to sustainable energy and mobility

Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences, Eindhoven University of Technology

The effectiveness of sustainability research depends on the involvement and support of the general public and policymakers. By sharing and discussing their results with the public, researchers in the Technology, Innovation and Society department aim to increase its impact. They do this on a regular basis through media appearances (press and TV), by debunking fake news on Twitter, and through citizen science projects.

The grant from the Rewarded! Fund will be used to support and professionalise outreach activities and to train PhD students in science communication. In particular, web-based supporting materials will be developed (videos, photos, webinars, short films) as well as an annual publication on the status of the energy and mobility transition in the Netherlands.
